 Good Bye - SIGGRAPH ASIA Hong Kong 2011
一連四日在香港會議展覽中心舉行的SIGGRAPH ASIA 2011 終於完滿結束，據大會提供的數字，今年共有超過七千五百多名來自世界53個國家的專業人仕及CG愛好者入場參與 !! 相信曾到過會場的朋友都能夠感受到當中的熱鬧及迫爆氣氛...
熱切期待明年回歸到新加坡舉行的 SIGGRAPH ASIA 2012 。

 DAY FOUR - 第四天 [15 DEC 2011]
隨著最後一場 Electronic Theatre 的播影結束，人潮離去.. 四日的SIGGRAPH ASIA 會議亦告完滿結束~~
Education Panel : Approaches and Challenges towards Animation Education
這是由 Media Design School 主辦的活動，當中迎請到 DreamWorks Animation , The One Academy , Animation School of Communication University of China, SCAD Hong Kong 及 Jinan University Arts College 等導師來分享及討論

DAY THREE - 第三天 [14 DEC 2011]
會議已過了半，今回報導一下各大軟件商的有關活動~~
Autodesk Event
位於2樓 227 及 229 房間活動 ， 當中有Mudbox 比賽 , 昨日冠軍 Chad 得到了豐富獎品
還有Autodesk講座 - 是日香港代表是Menfond (下左圖) 及 ManyMany (下右圖)
Feature Speaker : More than what the Eye Sees: Interaction and Graphics by Bill Buxton
作為Microsoft Research 的 Principal Researcher 有著很大的號召力，全場滿座之餘還吸引了"志雲大師" 棒場。
Technical Paper - Video-based Toon Characters from Surface Performace Capture
講者 : Yann Savoye
早上的技術論文講座，有關透過攝影機Capture真實演員動作 ，並輸出成3D Model 及圖質，再創造 Toon Shadering.
Technical Paper - Screen Space Aniamtion of Fire
講者 : Martin Guay , Fabrice Colin 及 Richard Egli
Fire simulation with 2 and half D methrod. Which is generally take less computering power to create believable fire effect for gaming/mobile device.
Panels & Talks :Coming Full Circle with Transformers

短短一個小時的展示，令人驚歎的 《變形金剛 3》當中 芝加哥毀滅製作
ChaosGroup Vray Event
Vray 2.0 Maya 及 Max 現場示範，還率先了解 Vray in Softimage 及 Fur rendering . 別外 強勁Fluid Dynamic軟件 Phoenix 2.0 示範等
PIXAR Renderman Event
早到的朋友相信都已經得到他們所期待的禮物~~ User Group內容也吸引 (所以全場滿坐), Sandy Karpman 的3D製作 短片 "Day & night" 及 Paul Kanyuk 的 Cars 2 . 另外亦公布了有關 Renderman in The Cloud 細節
SideFX Houdini Event
那邊廂... SideFX的Houdini 用戶組活動同時進行~~ 當中有最新版本示範
LucasFilm Singapore SIGGRAH ASIA 2011 Party @ Insomnia
~~又飲又抽獎..又有stormtrooper...

DAY TWO - 第二天 [13 DEC 2011]
會議進入第二天，繼續四處出現人山人海的情況~~

大會的開幕大典，由大會主席Prof.Liu Zhi-Qiang , ACM SIGGRAPH 總裁 Jeff Jorther 及 ACM 總裁 Alain Chesnais 等發言，還邀請到 香港商務及經濟發展局常任秘書長(通訊及科技) 謝曼怡女士JP上台致辭
