I took a few courses in last two days.
"Tips for Successful Voice Recordings for Anime and CG", they are professional voice talents, it is funny course, they often use role-play to let people know what is the problem in voice recording(but I think the reason is Japanese do not really understand English speaking, body language will be good for their communication).

"How to Plan a Short Film", Presented by Pixar, just focus on scheduling and tasks arrangement, good reference for CG short film production, but it is Pixar's way, not easy to apply to HK studio I think.
"Beyond Just Gaming: Playfulness as a Design Driver for Mobile Applications", presented by Nokia research center...quite boring, just let you know the result is people like "Playfulness" after their research.(I was disappointed at this conference)
"Digital Character Making" presented by Tokyo University of Technology. The workshop tell you Japanese how to create a character from literal development to 3D graphics, they provide a quite fast and easy way to complete a character development.
